Enrichment Teacher (ages 20 months through 5 years)
DAYS: Monday through Thursday HOURS: 8:30-1:30 $15.00 hourly
Are you ready to be everyone’s favorite teacher? A high-energy person is needed to teach specials like Music and Movement, our Bible Curriculum, and Science. This teacher has time every day with each class. Works closely with the Director. We train and have the resources you need. Come with wonderful ideas and motivation to make MDO a fun place for children! A Background in education is preferred.
3’s Lead Teacher (Turtles Class) (students ages 3 turning 4 )
DAYS: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday HOURS: 8:30-1:30 $15.00 hourly
This position requires a mature high energy person with a love for the Lord and children. This position requires a mature high energy person. A person with a bachelor’s degree and or prior years of experience teaching. A self-motivated person willing to be guided by the Director will be a great fit. You must be willing and able to lead and work with your Assistant Teacher. This class is for children who are fully potty trained and also those who are still working on training.
2’s Assistant Teacher: (Lambs Class) (20-23 months turning 2 )
DAYS: Monday through Thursday HOURS: 8:30-1:30 $12.00 hourly
This position requires a mature high energy person with a love for the Lord and children. A self-motivated person willing to be guided by the Lead Teacher will be a great fit. An assistant must be pro-active and energetic and have experience working with children. You will be diapering children as needed which will require some lifting.
All of our MDO teachers are loving and enthusiastic about helping children learn how to problem solve, gain knowledge academically and spiritually and how to function in their everyday world. We want children to play and experience the richness of childhood!
Teachers are active Christians with a college degree and/or proven equitable experience working with children. All positions require a high energy person with a love for the Lord and children.
Staff receive annual training in child development and are routinely trained and certified in First Aid,CPR/EpiPen and AMAT.
